The University of Lower Silesia is a participant in the Sea and the School: European Seas ERASMUS project, an Intensive Programme that brings students from various European universities together for workshops, courses and seminars on the European marine environment. The project seeks to introduce students to a variety of aspects of the coastal ecology, including its flora and fauna, breakwater life, marshes, estuaries and deltas. The project will further convert that knowledge into learning guides for teachers and students. The Sea and the School project runs in the 2005/2006 academic year.
